Pre-Gameweek 27 Table

© Barclays Premier League

Here's where we stand headed into this weekend.  As you can see, there wasn't much movement this week, apart from Liverpool moving ahead of Tottenham following their 2-0 win over Southampton.  Perhaps the most important news, however, is that Chelsea was held to a surprise draw against lowly Burnley.  This allowed second place Manchester City to inch closer the league leaders after they eviscerated Newcastle 5-0.  Due to Chelsea and Tottenham's Capital One Cup final on Sunday, they will skip this gameweek and make up this week's match later this season, as will Leicester City and QPR, who were meant to play Chelsea and Tottenham this weekend.
